On Saturday, October 24, we had the first boy’s ECYD Blitz of the year.
Four of our high school leaders led the day for twelve boys grades 5-8 at C.Y.O. Camp Brebeuf.
It was a bit chilly, but the rain held out and we built a camp fire. The theme was “The Real Battle,” and the talk drew from our battle cry—“Thy Kingdom Come!” and our prized virtue—Charity (taken from numbers 7 and 8 of the ECYD Statutes).
Our high school ECYD leaders did a great job leading the activities—soccer, lunch, Lectio Divina, witness talk, and an intense relay race. Two of the boys inquired about joining ECYD.
Keep praying for our young people that they may know Christ and be able to share him with others. Learn more about our engaging and inspiring youth work.
