Holy Week Missions for Families!

Once again you are invited to participate in Holy Week Mission, whether you are a teen, young adult, an adult, or parent, we have a mission for you!

To learn more about Mission Youth and the missions planned for teens and young adults visit the Hamilton Youth Mission website.

Adults & Families - Your Mission should you choose to accept it is as follows:

This year, St. Michael’s Church in Oakville, and Regnum Christi are collaborating to offer the St. Michael's parishioners and the Regnum Christi family the opportunity to engage in missions together. The Mission activities will run from Palm Sunday through all of Holy Week.

Missionary Send Off

St. Michael’s will host mission activities from the Monday of the Holy Week through Good Friday. Regnum Christi will host activities through Good Friday and Holy Saturday. All are welcome, though some of these events have limited spaces available.

The Mission events will begin with a Send-off Ceremony on Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023, celebrated by the priests of the Legionaries of Christ, at St. Dominic’s parish, 2415 Rebecca St., Oakville, On L6L 2B1, 2:00 – 6:00 pm. This includes the Missionary send-off mass where the Celebrant blesses the Missionaries as they bring Christ to others. While all are welcome to participate in this Mass, the Missionaries are invited to wear their Missionary T-shirts purchased from Hamilton Mission Youth ($17) or a white T-shirt of their choice. They will also receive their Missionary Cross from one of the priests of the Legionaries of Christ. St. Michael’s parishioners will receive a St. Michael’s medal to accompany them in their journey.
